In Pandora: Purge of Pride you play as Pandora, a Victorian woman who has unknowingly unleashed the Seven Deadly Sins on her mansion. You must solve puzzles to recapture the Sins and stop them from spreading! Each Sin sets up a different puzzle for you to solve as you make your way through the mansion. As you recapture each Sin, you gain a new power based on that Sin to help you solve further puzzles.
Use the Seven Deadly Sins to solve puzzles
Beautiful hand-painted and inked art style
Puzzles with adaptive difficulty (never too easy or too hard!)
But it turned out to be a disappointment.
The voice acting for starters isn't bad persay, just amateur, and that's the feeling one gets when playing this game. The game is buggy, textures can look kind of weird, and the interface simply fails to work at times.
This game was created via Kickstarter for a few thousand bucks. There are parts, like the fact that there's tolerable voice acting, the general concept, and the commitment to physics when you actually react to the environment that should be praised when the budget was so low. But the number of bugs and the lack of polish in this game shows.
