Review This Game

Though this is a fairly short game, it is still worth playing if you like exploring horror themed environments and solving None of the puzzles are overly complex and they certainly won't get you stuck for very long, but a few require some thought. There's a fair amount of collectibles to find, but since you can't backtrack, you will have to replay the entire level over again to get anything you might have missed. Some are very well hidden and you will miss them. The controls are good. The voice acting is good. The environments are a little dark, even if you mess with the brightness in game, but all horror games are like this. The torch is also pretty useless because it only lasts a few seconds at a time. Overall, it's worth it on sale, but don't expect anything ground breaking, and definitely don't buy this thinking it's going to be scary because it isn't.

Doorways comes across as more of a Horror puzzle game, than a survival horror. It also tends to play more on the psychological ...aspect of horror, than relying on shock tactics which is a nice change. The voice acting is also very well done and compliments the game greatly. I hope to see more of the game if it comes out with more chapters.
