Dawn of Fantasy features three distinct civilizations: Elves, Orcs and Men, presenting a unique approach to these iconic races with three distinct styles of gameplay. Each race is complete with its own lore, language, world region and terrain, dozens of distinct units and buildings, hundreds of unique technologies, and each even has a different approach to economy and building style.
  • Fully 3D Dynamic World Map
Travel the MMORTS world using a beautifully-designed 3D World Map featuring scale replicas of all the NPC strongholds, quest areas, and the player's homeland.
  • Original Base Building Approach
Each player’s Stronghold features hundreds of buildings that look and behave like a City-Simulation game, but without any micro-management, giving the player more time to spend on the battlefield. In addition each race offers a different approach to building strongholds.
  • Complex Economic Model with Corpse Looting
Combines the complexity of nearly a dozen gathering possibilities, different for each race, with automated simplicity, allowing players the options to micromanage their economy, or leave it to run itself in times of war.

Dawn of Fantasy is an interesting game, it has many features which are present in many popular base builders (i.e. evony, etc) w...hile providing a unique aspect to the genre. Providing a tabletop view of the battlefield and being able to command troops into strategic positions helps differentiate this game from the many others that are on the market. The game also offers a pay to win system found in most games based on this genre however not many would provide you a means to purchase powerful units (dragons, champions, etc) while the unique currency is obtainable it still daunting to know that you can always be beaten by someone who pays money into the game. However this is the only true difference that this game offers, suffering from performance issues which often makes micro management a sluggish task. While the graphics are moderate to say the least (for an indie developer) with rather flat faced NPC's and green fields of dirt. The worst flaw in the game is the language used playing elves mainly it was unbearable to read quests or dialogue simply because of the old English used, fantasy turns more into cheap budget theatre productions than immerse you in a fantasy world. Overall looking past the small bugs, performance issues and flawed designs the game has a lot to offer, however i would not recommend it above 10$.
